My wife said her Personal Trainer swears by it, so I do the ole youtube DIY.
I purchase several types and almost all can't last through a few showerings.... TILL - I thought, well if HEAT activates it via rubbing/friction, why not apply some hair drier action after the tape(s) is set???? Oh God, works LIKE EPOXY.  The process almost doubles the adhesive life expectancy of claimed statues and pulls off LOL like epoxy. 
Keep that blower moving so you DON'T burn your skin. Hope that helps out there. |

Shouldn't you be replacing that stuff every two days or so anyway? I'd think that even if it sticks like epoxy, you've lost some of the value of the tensile strength after a couple of days.

I was skeptical when my ankle was acting up last summer but I was at my wit's end.
Bought some KT Tape, wore it religiously every day. I'd take it off at night and put on new in the mornings. Didn't hold up to showering anyways. Stuff works. |

I am noticing no difference. I go 4-5 days they routinely change them out. Some of these Mfgr's SWEAR they will last shower after shower. If you look at some of the comment (Amazon) some are complaining for them some of this stuff quits after a very wet work out. |

My PT guy used it to get my kneecap to go back in the correct location after my ACL surgery. I would swear by it only if put on correctly.
