Do you do your normal supplement routine--protein, creatine, multis, on your off-days?

On one hand it makes sense from a recovery standpoint, but on the other, your body will only use as much protein as it needs, and it presumably uses the most post-workout during sleep.

IS THERE SCIENCE?

I keep the creatine daily. The goal is to maintain regular elevated creatine level in the blood.

Carbs/protein I don't take on off days. Just from food.

Unless you go unusually long between lifting, your body is still recovering for a few days. It's not like it finishes eight hours after you lift.

If you're not getting enough protein via diet on your off-days, there's no reason you can't supplement.
