C2 = $700-800 used on Craigslist

Airdyne = $200 or less on Craigslist...

Exactly why we bought one new for $850 several years ago.  1mil + strokes later and it's still going strong/no issues.

Coming from a background of doing ~7,000 miles a year on a bike - road and velodrome, and countless hours on trainer/rollers, the C2 is still my go-to for a good cardio workout.

If we ever get to where the C2 doesn't get used, we can put it on CL and recoup the majority of our initial purchase price.

I've got a Model C in my garage and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Airdynes are torture... as good as any rower...

If I were to want a "cardio" machine, I'd get another Airdyne over rebuying a C2...  $$$ to benefit isn't there for the rower vs airdyne.

I have been riding the hell out of my Airdyne since I purchased it new in 1988.   I had to rebuild it several years ago, bit it still kicks my ass on a weekly basis.
