ok here goes had 15 minutes to work to a max hang snatch, made to 160. Failed the first attempt and hit the second. Maybe could have gotten 165 but it was a PR already so I didn't push it any farther anyway.
WOD was 21-15-9 Power Snatch and DUs x4 so 84-60-36 on those. Time was 10:38, my DUs were bad today. Havent practiced them outside of an actual workout in months. |

Monday was 50 "ManMakers" for time, every 5 MM do 10 AbMat situps. For those of you lucky enough to NOT know what a manmaker is: with a dumbbell in each hand drop into push-up position and complete 1 pushup, 1 right arm dumbbell row, 1 pushup, 1 left arm dumbbell row, jump to your feet and perform 1 squat clean thruster.
In short this was pretty hellish. Took me 24:10 with 35# dumbells, everything on me feels broken today |

Just worked at 85. It's going to take a while before I get halfway decent at the oly movements. 3 rounds for time 30 snatches @ 65 60 DUs (I did singles) 9:50 Coach had to remind me to extend through my toes. Once I did that, I felt like I was going to throw the bar through the ceiling. Took a short break and then did singles @ 225 on front squat because I missed yesterday's session. I never tried lifting heavy after a met con… what a shitshow. |

Work has been really getting in the way of my WODs lately. Went today and did: 3 legless rope climbs, 30 box jumps @ 30", 90 DUs, 3 rope climbs, 30 box jumps, 90 DUs, and 3 more climbs for time. I subbed the rope climbs for pulls from the floor, and destroyed my right shin on the box on my first set of box jumps. We were just joking before the workout about not missing on the jumps, in doing CF on and off since 2009 this is the FIRST time ive ever missed a box jump during a workout. It sucks too, I finished the workout in 14:48 but I have a slight limp now I bandaged it up good for work tonight, but as im typing this its bleeding through my bandage since im on my feet and moving all night. Gonna suck to rip this bigass bandaid off in the morning
