What makes you work harder, lift harder, run faster etc.?

I have a huge workout playlist of my favorites. Im looking to add to it. I hope this thread can give me ideas on some new songs/music.

I recently posted this on my face book page and I was able to get ideas from friends. Some of the songs/music I didn't even consider before seeing them mentioned.

Here are a few:

Kraddy - Android Porn
Instrumental Core - Angels Among Demons
Eminem - The Monster
Killsonik - Slaughterhouse (Gemini Remix)
Nero - Syndicate

I usually use Pandora and listen to the Glitch Mob or Skrillex channels. The gym is the only place where I can tolerate it though.

I think I'm a bit unusual here... as I've never found any particular music motivated me more than another type.  That said, I might be listening to Country, 80's R&R, or a talk radio recording.

You can wear out your favorite songs really quick in the gym.  I download and listen to podcasts like UKF or Tiesto, they're about 1 hour each. You would be surprised at the music available for free on podcasts.

Queen, Live at Wembly Stadium.   I can't tell you how many times I've played that CD working out.  (100's, 1000's?)

Anything by Guns and Roses.

yes, I'm old.

I cycle through genres on a monthly basis.

If I'm running or something similar I prefer something more chill, even if its sprints. Something in the Kings of Leon category, maybe the Neighbourhood.

If Im lifting definitely metal of some sort (Ancient Waters by Fit For a King is right up there).

Lately I've been listening to more rap. At first it wasnt my choosing, just what was on at the gym, but Im kinda liking it.

"Till I colapse" is another good one.  I'm a closet Eminem fan.

My playlist goes through everything from rap to metal.  Generally it just has to have heavy drums, heavy guitar or aggressive lyrics.

I checked out Fit for a King. Im not a big fan of Death Metal. Thanks for the suggestion though. Listening to different stuff is the only way for me to find new songs/music.

Love me some Eminem when I'm lifting.  I also like Kanye's songs 'Power', 'Can't Tell Me Nothing', 'Niggas in Paris'.  'Right Above It' and 'Drop the World' from Lil' Wayne are good.  And of course 'No Church in the Wild' with Jay z and Kanye.
