Can't knock him for that. I'm still waiting on the 9 month mark. I'm gonna pull this thread up and see which one of these people competing stuck to it and further improved. |

I'm signing up this week for the Detroit (likely half) Marathon in October. I'm sticking around!

Glad you kept your booty!! You have such a great shape!!!
Oh, and I took new "before" pics today. Stupid backsliding... In all fairness, June and July were fairly emotional months for me, but wow... The decline goes so much faster than he progress... Your progress and continued focus is inspirational. |

As long as you realize what you've gotta do and get it done then it's all good. Just keep on, keeping on. Good Luck!! |

Hovering between 35-38lbs off, can't seem to get to 40 very easily. View Quote Nice!!! There's plenty of research that says weight loss is 80% diet, so you're just proving that out. Exercise is good, but quality intake makes the most difference. |

What was your diet like, Sir? I am wondering what your macro intake and workout structure was like? Not quite a see-food diet, but pretty close. Multiple smaller meals a day, high in protein. Basically I try to eat as though I've got a little sense, probably around 2500 calories/day. I do mostly CrossFit & Olympic lifting with a little powerlifting mixed in. I'm actually up to a lean 170# now with atlas stone workouts & more running than usual. Lately it's been 2-a-days & too much PT instead of weights. I look decent but I'm not getting any stronger If you've got any specific questions feel free to ask. |

I am bending the rules a bit on the date on this one. I started October of last year and just took my after pic this morning. I figure, a year's progress is a years progress. Besides, I could not see myself starting a new thread for a fat guy transformation. I started at 250 pounds last October and weighed in at 197# this morning. I need to throw a couple more pics in here if I can find a good "before" pic.
Down just over 50lbs at this point but I've been working the HIIT classes twice a week pretty hard and it's certainly made a difference. |
