I guess I can actually contribute to this thread now that I'm doing 5/3/1 on most of my main lifts.
For future reference, don't do "week 2" deadlifts on Monday and "week 3" deadlifts on Friday.... that's not smart. I actually did 3 reps for the 1+ set but felt like shit. |

I've been struggling to find something to hold my attention... there's a local indoor rock climbing gym that's $50 a month, unlimited. Seriously thinking about doing it. Anyone into that sort of thing? I've done some outdoor climbing before, but this is new.

Started going because I was so fucking mad. It really helped, and gave me a solid, well rounded base to do all my other shit. That said, hot chicks in yoga pants is never a bad thing. |

Got 315x5x5 for the first time tonight in the squat rack. Slight tweaks to my form helped a lot. I was letting my elbows drop a bit, in addition to not tucking my chin while bringing my chest up as much as I should. Feels a lot better with those minor changes. Bench has been feeling better the last two sessions too -- I need to stay tight and keep my elbows tucked more at the bottom.

Anyone got any insight into regression on bench? I've dropped 24lbs off my bench in the last two weeks. I do know that we won't always hit AMRAP on 90% every week but two weeks in a row is kind of concerning.
Fwiw, work has been stressful and I'm not sleeping. I'm looking at a complete career change and its been rough trying to figure out which way to go. Only getting about 4 hours sleep maybe per night but it's not really much different than normal. |

Like you said, the anxiety/stress is likely the culprit. My blood pressure has even been higher than normal. Normally I'm in the 110-120 range and its been 140 here lately. |
