Edit: The swag and raffle is great, the not "allowing" people to use regular Stag rifles unless they are cops is retarded. It's one thing not to sell to civilians since it's illegal for you to do so, it's another not to "allow" them to handle a rifle at a shooting range. For shame.

Got to be honest, I'm a little disappointed that you are catering to the police force and their "more equal" rights.

They have no reason to have anything that a citizen of their state can not.

Oh and I own a stag safe act rifle so I appreciate the effort, this is just a bad PR move

I take it stag sells to ban state cops.

Am I correct in assuming that those who attend with less equal rights will be separated from those granted special permission by the ruling class? It wouldn't be good for your image if a subject accidentally handled a "enforcement officers firearm" thus committing a felony.

I was told it is the state police that dose not want civilians to be able to shoot the standard non NY complaint AR15. Even if I never heard of a law that said you can't.. But they call it possession even if you do not own it. Is this correct??

I do believe the NYSP doesn't want people shooting real rifles, but there's nothing illegal about doing so.

Today is the day. Rain or shine. There is cover at the 25 yard line and plenty of steel targets thanks to GT Targets. Stop by at any point during the event today - 9:45 to 4:00 and shoot some Stag Arms carbines for FREE! Don't forget your eye & ear protection. Someone is going to win a Stag Arms carbine!
