Is it going to be open regularly or just during the First Mondays?

First Mondays for now.

I heard that they were still on the lookout for a daily storefront, but I dunno what the timeline is for that.

It's been a very long time since I've been out to the Trades Days, but this might be a good excuse to brave the crowds again.

Don't. Move to Tyler instead.

Okay, but why?

Your going to hate Canton on trade days trying to get around. Tyler is just down the road with more to offer.

Not a lot in Canton.

So, who's running the "win a camping trip with TRG" raffle at this thing?  When is the drawing, and can I get a discount on bulk raffle ticket purchases?

What time does the trolley go through San Antonio / Austin?  Does it make stops in between the two cities?

Amtrak stops in Dallas.  If you need a ride to Canton, let me know.  There's another stop or two out in East Texas; I'm sure we can figure out a ride.  Getting you back though, we might have to use Ed's postal account.  As long as you can be split up between a few 70 lb boxes, should be no problem.

Would a Herby Curby be a good substitute for an ARFCOM approved Canton Cart?

It's 87% bigger and I can stuff more jerkey in it  with plenty of room for an AK

Stopped by today to get a few pics.

Arfcom Monkey selling his wares.  They are still working on teh display.  Guns on the shelf are supposed to be on the wall later.

T-shirts, Hog Hunting Vendor and the gun cleaning station.  There is also a small lounge here to just hang out.  More on that later.

Night vision and optics dealer on site.

Arfcom memorabilia

Chips, coins, dominoes!

Temporary display area for cases.

A gun is going to be given away each weekend.  Must be present to enter, but not to win.  All other items in this case will be given away as well.  There is an entry ticket.  You will need to locate FOUR Arfcom logos with other vendors to get a stamp/cutout of your ticket.

Couple of pics failed to upload, but there is a class/meeting room set aside.  It will have some snacks available and will be used for training and vendor demos and also as a hang out area.  There will be a meet and greet here tomorrow with prizes and giveaways.  Starts at 6:30

There is an enclosed hallway that is set up by the NVG vendor so you can actually Try Before You Buy.

I spoke to the vendor, any of the NVG you are considering, they can demo.  These are just a small, small, selection of what they have on hand.  Nice touch to see for yourself which optic works best for you.

The gun cleaning is a 'drop and come back' set.  Drop off any kind of gun, go shopping, return for it later.

If you are thinking about buying any AR accessories.  Grips, forward rails, slings, barrels, they will install on site for you.  They have an area set aside to provide that nice little touch.

The most AWESOME part is the Full Size EdSr statue out front in Texas garb!  Pics a little blurry, but in real life, it even smells like him.  Peaches with a hint of cinnamon.

For folks looking for TNVC products at the ARFCOM Store at this FLEA Market in Texas, we now have a whole crate of gear sitting at the FED-X Texas hub due to a shipping snafu that cannot be there. We've  planned on having lot's of gear at this event for the last 6 weeks so you can imagine my surprise to hear the news all our gear is not not going to be there.

For those looking for our gear, just talk with Ed Avilla if you happen to stop by, he has some special pricing on the gear that is sitting in a crate.  We will be there next month in full force with all the goodies. Sorry to those who emailed us on our gear that is not there, we fully planned on the goodies to be there with a few surprises.

After all these years, I got to meet Ed today! Totally Star Struck! And, the best part, Mrs Ed likes The Ramones!
In Honor of Ed and the Misses, I am watching Rock and Roll Highschool again tonight! Sheena is a Punk Rocker!
So glad you guys moved down here to Gods Half Acre.

Notice the cunning disquises!

Just to let the ARFCOM folks know, TNVC will be at the next ARFCOM Store August 31st (this week) in full force with some very cool goodies.  Two of our training staff members will be there including our Mil/LE Director Kyle to show and tell in the world of low light/no light questions you may have. They look forward to seeing you all there!
