I was gonna answer your first question, but then you got ridiculous. Why not just wait for an answer? It's push feed as is my older AR-30 in .300WM and the one I had in .308. My 03A3 and Ishapore 2A are control feed. I really see no difference but I have never tried to fire any of them upside down. ![]() |

But I don't know much about bolt guns or long range shooting like you do LG. Thank you for letting me know though. |

If they would build one in 223 with a sako extractor , quick change barrels, folding stock and takes ar mags and I will buy one, especially if I can buy other bolts as well.

Nah, $1.00. But seriously it would be more in line with what could be used in the future. Hell if savage had a sako extractor and took ar mags it would be no different than the stock which you can buy aftermarket as a folder. You could have a reliable 300 whisper/blackout and a 223 with nothing more than a barrel change for example, or a 308 and 7mm08. That's why people use ptg bolts, rem actions and thread the barrel to accept a rem/sav barrel nut and pin and locktite them in place. |

I'm sure these are great rifles but do they really outsell and / or out-profit an updated Ar180?
Seems like demand for a piston-using 5.56 rifle that uses AR mags would be more popular than any .50 bmg. But I'm just an Armalite fan not a firearms salesman so what do I know? |

You and others have to throw it in every thread. Second, this is NOT a .50 BMG rifle. When they put out the 180B ( I still have mine and my original Sterling) all kinds of people were whining about they wanted this or that and wanted it to be under $600, in other words, a bunch of whining, so they discontinued it. Mine works great. There is a thread in the ArmaLite industry forum, go post there. |
