Well, I'm guessing it's some kind of zombie themed shooting event, and after watching a video and clicking on everything in sight, it's apparently in Minnesota.

I would love to be there but unfortunately I won't be returning from Afghanistan until the end of October.

I went last year - I was actually surprised at how amazingly poorly managed the whole event was. If you want to drive halfway across the country to stand in line for hours to plink at largely non-reactive targets from a standing position at a whopping 15 yards, by all means - enjoy. There was no clear sense of what was going on, and essentially no incentive to try to shoot well - the only contest was the costume contest. In all honesty, the guys who I went with and I were all pretty disappointed in the level of fail.
Hope that this year is better, but I won't be attending. It looks to be the same place with the same setup. |

A shoot in ny? I wouldnt want to risk driving from the safety of Pa to NY with any of my firearms with all the bs up there. Where is this located?

Are any Arfcom royalty(staff or mods) going, or is ARF just sending banners and prizes?

It's a zombie themed 3 gun fun shoot. Nothing too challenging. The best rifle stage wasn't worth the wait last year, but they had some fun pistol stages. It's a good time, do as much shooting as you want, meet arfcommers, and other nice folks, and maybe win something.

This is a Zombie theme based fun shoot, no skill required but positive attitude and willingness to have fun is a must!
We are going to have 25+ shooting stages this year. One featured stage will be the "Zombie Safari" where you go on patrol into the woods while riding and shooting out of a UTV! For the victors we have at least 20 firearms and 75k+ in other prizes and counting! On site camping is FREE. If anybody has a question please email aaron@dpmsinc.com To those of you that want a "3gun match" or a "competition" this is not for you. For those who want to join in the Zombie killing camaraderie, lean new zombie killing tactics and the latest gear, meet people with the same interests and like guns, weapons and good times win lots of prizes... you get the picture. |

now if only we had some Zombie shoots here in Wis. I might venture up to this shoot if my other plans for that weekend don't go through. |

My plans and ammo stock are based around the likely situation that once the first line falls, the rest will seek a softer target. Also keep in mind: Even a few dead bodies in close proximity to your bug-out location is a disease risk. Reducing the number of bodies that have to be burried or burned should be a priority for safety and health reasons. An overwhelming display of force will be the best option, but conserve ammo.

I agree the current web site is lacking. last years site was much more informative of stages and preplanning. It is still kind of unclear of if there is anything going on after the shoot saturday. last year there was a hog roast and band and adult beverages.

We came up from Kansas City. We really didn't know what to expect. It really was a lot of fun. Yeah there were some lines to wait in, but with 1200 people there what do you expect. Our group is already making plans on going next year.
