I know I'm an hour and a half early, but since some of us will have things to work on, I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanza, happy fesitvus, or anything else you may celebrate. I hope everyone enjoys the day with family and friends and gets a toy, or two, to take out shooting!

For those of you who have had a rough year, 2012 should be better than the past few. I wish everyone the best this holiday and hope that the coming months bring more joy and opportunity to you. You can feel the "change" coming and if we're good, maybe Santa will ensure it's a political one. This time in history is unique, as people in countries all over the world are pushing to get back control of their political systems. Here at home, we see the same thing as people look to replace lifelong politicians with ordinary folks who understand what community is. While not a big holiday message, it's important to know that things are changing and with our votes, changing for the better! As president Lincoln said in his Gettysburg address, this "government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

Have a very SAFE and HAPPY Christmas!
