I've got the time for a change, so it would most definitely be fun. I just hope there isn't all kinds of tempting LaRue swag available, as I really would have to do this one on the cheap. Sounds like a plan. Will the man himself be in attendance? Barbeque's free.

Update:
So, what is LaRue Tactical gonna bring? Our focus will be on educating shooters, instead of just trigger pullin'. No ninja skills needed, there will be something for every LaRue fan. Before you leave, you will get a chance to show what you've learned...from 25 to 1000 meters. On the live-fire demo line, you will get a chance to learn about LaRue products and shoot with LaRue's Mark Fingar, Alfred Lindsay, and special guest Dakota Meyer (that's right, THE Dakota Meyer). Mark LaRue will be walking the grounds and pressing the flesh as well. The world-famous LaRue Tactical BBQ trailer will be on site, so come hungry and leave happy. So come see us, you might even be lucky enough to score a "AR15.com / Rockcastle Pro AM" Dillo. |

(Or more importantly, what time does the line form to get to play with the LaRue toys?) |

Are there any recommended local hotels? I am not looking for the Ritz but I don't want a dump either. Safe area and inexpensive is the goal.

They're having a side stage there anybody can shoot. Lots of caves on the property. Here's my run at the cave stage from the Blue Ridge Match earlier this year: |

Question about the cold range: Is this for competitors ONLY or does this apply to spectators as well? In other words will I have to leave my CCW rig in the truck?
What if I decide to shoot a side match, will there be a "safe place" to down load for the side match? |
