I don't have reload equipment, maybe someday I will.

I have a Rem 700 30.06. I've read on multiple sites the 200gr Nosler Partition is the best for large animals like elk, moose, and bear.

When I looked to buy some boxes, no one sells it or it's out of stock. Is there something equal or better than the 200gr Nosler Partitions, or know of a website that sells them?

Based on some research, it looks like they are sold for about $2/round.

You don't need that heavy of a bullet for elk, moose, and bear in an 30/06.

Any premium 165-180 gr bullet that's built for penetration will work if properly placed.

Poor weight retention.

180 Remington RNSP is popular around here for bigger animals.  It's not a sexy or cutting edge bullet but it works like a motherfucker.

I'd go with the 180 Partition. You can still get respectable velocities with it and it's everything you need for deer, elk, and moose.

Nothing  at all wrong with 180 gr Partitions on elk.

My moose on the wall begs to differ with your assertion.  I used a 200 gr accubond in my 300 win mag and it dropped him nicely.  It shot better than sierra match kings too!

If you can find any factory stuff with accubonds I say go fot it. 165 to 180 grain pills should do the trick.

Bullet weight does not equal magic. 165-180 grain partition or solid copper expanding type (TSX) should work fine. No different than the guy shooting 300wm @ a longer range at the same animal.

Factory seconds are a great deal. I've shot a lot of them in 223 and 308. The are cosmetic blems that don't impact accuracy and honestly I've never seen anything cosmetically wrong with them

Also look into Barnes TSX cartridges but shoot some first and verify your rifle likes them. Some rifles don't shoot them well

Also worth mentioning:  Swift A-frame - very similar construction to a Partition.

Any of the bonded core bullets:
Speer Trophy Bonded Bearclaw
Speer Grand Slam
Hornady Interbond

I would say swift aframe or the bear claw world be most equal to a partition. Barnes tsx would be a little less equal. And bonded bullets are a different kind of bullet. Not giving judgement on what is best.
