Just a short run down of what I got out of this ammo over the weekend. 10 shots of each were fired to test. Rifle was a 16" AIAX 308.

155gr ELD Match #80956

2657 fps from a Labradar, 0.53 MOA at 100 yards.

168gr ELD Match #80966

2530 fps, 0.56 moa

Both shot exceptionally well from this rifle, pretty much beating out how FGMM performs from my experience.

The 178 ELD-X is even better.

The ELD-X has better BC than the ELD-M. ELD-X is G1 .552/G7 .278 vs ELD-M is G1 .547/G7 .275.

Will be trying the ELD-M soon. Yes they are cheaper so if they perform, the X will be on stand by!

With a longer barrel and getting them to 2750fps they will make 1150. Not too bad.

I'm still skeptical because of twist rate.  Even up here in the thin air at high altitudes, I watch 155gr AMAX fan apart at 800yds from a 16" barrel.  No predictable impact beyond that, other than a wide dispersal around the target.

That is one of the biggest problems with .308 at long range-twist rates are too loose.

If you spun even an old school 168gr SMK with 1/9, you would have better performance at distance.

But since muzzle blast, recoil, and muzzle climb are still what they are, you won't see these improvements change much in competition.

I chased 155gr Scenar at high speed for a little while, but had unpredictable performance at distance, which was just not acceptable for ranges much past 700yds.

I need to get some ELD .308 in 178 weight to try them against my 175 FGMM SMK's..

I keep hearing how it is smoking 175 SMK's. Haven't heard if it's better than even 175 TMK's yet.
