Has anybody tried it?

Looking to buy some boxes of .300WM 200gr ELD-X.

Wondering how good it is for generic 'precision' shooting and deer hunting.

It outshoots all other ammo in my .308 rifle. As the above poster said, you have to try it in your own rifle to see results.

I tried it with my rem. 700 7mm. Sighted it in @ 100yds with 3 shots. Went straight to a 400yd target that had a 4" gong and hit it 3 times in a row, no problem. Im really liking it. Well worth the $$.

Perfect answer I was looking for.  I need to get some brass for my 300RUM and unprimed is about $10 less than loaded PR rounds.  I am going to try a few boxes.

80 rounds enough to get me going I hope.  Not sure how long brass in a 300 RUM lasts.

It shoots great for me, it's my preferred precision .308 hunting round. Took a 9pt buck with it out of a M1A NM last Fall.

The ammo is great, but if you're into reloading the brass is mediocre. I'd rather fully prep Rem or Win brass myself.

Hmmm.  Well that might suck.  Just got them in the mail the other day.  I'll give it a go.
