the 10BA uses ACIS mags..... not the custom savage dbm mags...

any 308 ACIS mag will work...

normal price, 60-75$

new magpul should be 30-35ish

Just got back from shooting my 10fcp-sr and a buddies 10ba. Both our magwells take the same 10 round box mag. My SR only came with one mag so I needed replacements. The Accuracy International mags I bought are the correct mags for both 10BA and FCP-SR, however the tolerance on my magwells created sticking issues and cycling issues.
Long story short, the 10BA and the 10FCP-SR both accept the RUGER SCOUT 10 round box magazine, and they're cheaper than the accuracy international mags. Best of luck.

I just purchased the 10T model from cabelas. Am presuming the ruger scout should work on mine. Or are there better options out there?

Just received my 10 round from Savage for my 10T. 56 bucks shipped. Also got a reply from savage on the scout mag working in the 10T. They will work.

I know this is an old thread, but maybe my experience will help someone in a similar situation.

I recently discovered also Magpul AIC mags wouldn't seat in my Savage BA.  I noticed that the Magpul lips are longer toward the front than the original steel mag.

5 minutes with a file cutting the lips back toward the rear about half an inch fixed this.  I have ran about a hundred rounds through the 2 Magpuls I modified and they work great.

Here toy go.

Original Savage mag on left.  I actually used a wood rasp to remove the material from the front mag lips.   Attachment Attached File

I'm glad my gun plumber experience could help.  I'm sorry it took so long for me to see this thread.
