I recently took a job as a guide here in Texas.  We do a good bit of hog hunting at night and some exotics and varmints at night so I bought night vision to attach to a rifle for clients that want to play at night.  I will play with it but this is mainly for clients to play with so I do not want to have a ton of money invested in the rifle (will probably be used less than 20 times per year).  I have about 100 rounds of leftover 30-06 ammo (should last a while) and Cabelas has the Winchester XPR in Vias Camo for $399.  My concern is the recoil being a bit much with night vision (ATN X Sight II by the way).  Even though I will have to buy ammo should I just stick to .308 and under for this application or do you guys with experience think recoil will not be an issue?

Thanks in Advance
