Found a slightly used Steiner Military M5XI for $1800; buy it or get a Vortex Viper PST for around $800? Is it worth the extra money? For the 308 version FWIW

I have a Nightforce 4-14 F1 For a Tikka CTR I'm going to get soon. Very nice scope.
If your budget is tight then PST Gen 2 will do, my 1-6 is amazing, of course not as nice as my Night Force, noticeably the tracking is more stiff. |

Ended up with a Steiner T5xi 5-25ffp inbound tomorrow. Picked up a nice qd mount as well. Should be gtg Tuesday or Wednesday on everything. Will post pics and a range report soon.
