I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Bushnell LRTS 4.5-18x44mm (illuminated or non-illuminated). I'm pretty much down to this scope and the larger Bushnell DMR II 3.5-21x50. Both scopes seem to be fairly available (illuminated 4.5-18s seem to be more common than illuminated 3.5-21s) but the LRTS is $100+ cheaper. I'm just curious to see if the LRTS has a good a reputation as the DMR II.

Thanks!

Any links? I don't have any hands on experience but can look at the specs and help you "buy in" on one or the other.

FWIW: I looked at the 3-21X option not so long ago and spoke to Scott at Liberty Optics. He had very high praise for them, said they're really popular with a lot of in demand features.

I guess it comes down to if you want a 34mm (DMR 2) or 30mm tube (LRTS). The DMR 2-i is shorter, but weighs more. The LRTS-i weighs less, but is an inch longer. Personally, I'd go with the DMR 2. I have the non-illuminated version and I love it. It's about to go on my Savage 110 BA Stealth when I get it.

If you're LE or Mil, you can save more going direct through Bushnell.

Either way you should have got it 9 days ago and got the 25% rebate.

I bought the DMR II, but I've not actually used either.
I like that it's short, but dang the box was heavier that I was expecting.

If you think the DMR 2 is bad, you should hold a Razor HD 2.

Yeah the Gen II Razor would make a great bludgeoning weapon :-)

Okay, I found a steal on the Bushnell G2DMR 3.5-21. It is going to be here by next week.

Thank you all for your help!

One last question,

What height rings should I be looking for? I'm mounting this scope on a completely stock Tikka T3x CTR. Thanks in advance!

I really liked my G2DMR and love my CTR.

If you are using a stock pack I would go with ~1.125" rings.  If not then .9"-1" should work.  I would look at

You can verify my numbers here once your scope arrives.

This is with a 1.125" 20 MOA NF Unimount and a 3-12x44mm LRTSi.
