Locked Larue predatar question

A friend of mine is looking into buyin a larue predatar with atlas bipod for about 2900 bucks. Rifle has about 50 rounds through it. First question is the price reasonable. The second question is can he use his 4x32 acog on it in the meantime for some fun while he waits to buy some real glass for it? The rifle is like number 213 of the first 500 I think too. Not sure if that matters.

Not enough data here, if it's numbered it's a Costa (556) or the FDE (762).  Either of those for 2,900 is a pretty good deal.
