So far I'm really satisfied with it. I sent in a 16" barrel that had been cut down and pinned. They used the barrel extension, bottom metal/rail and gas block assembly and the Surefire muzzle brake.
I sent my bolt and they head spaced the new barrel and test fired it 5 rounds. They returned the original cut down barrel at my request and the fired cartridges. Shipping took 3 days each way and they had it back to me in a total of 20 days. Total cost using my parts and their new barrel $400. I contacted them through their website.  http://deadshotbarrels.com

MDStroup is correct, it is off of a Ruger PRS, and I used the Vseven Heavy Receiver Extension to solidify it, and love the octagon look.  Here is a little closer pic of it.  I have a large file so click on the photo to see more details.

jaqufrost,

Nightforce 2.5-10x42 with Mil-R reticle and Zerostop/Digilum.

They are about 1800ish which is a little high compared to some of the competition but it is super light, small, and easy to use.  I love it.  I use the rifle for deer hunting, coyote, shooting fast targets and can knock steel at 800yds when it's not too windy.

Would suggest the NXS 3.5-15x50 or the Nightforce ATACR line if you want to punch paper for groups.

6.5 Creedmor build, now I get what all the hype was about. First outting today, moved scope over from .308 bolt gun and was dead on zero out the gate. 1st round hit at 840 yards, 2nd round hit at 1013 yards observing my own splash. I'm pretty happy.

Freshly assembled 6.5creedmoor. I'll shoot it a bit and then get the rail coated.

First range outing. May need to increase the second stage weight; let one fly prematurely.

Got this one to where I'm done tweaking (for now). Getting ready to push it out farther, but it's consistently sub half minute @ 100 in the 168gr variety. I'm working up a video for my YT channel, going in depth and detailing the performance of a bunch of different factory match loads.

I would but I'm waiting on a certain fde mount to mount the razor gen 2 and a Silencerco Radius. Scope in the picture is from another rifle that I recently put a 20" Larue 5.56 barrel in.  So I will have my trigger finger well exercised, especially if my .260 sparrels, and my 20" 6.5 grendel barrel for another build come in anytime soon.

Likely from a difference in the 1913 rail specs on the Radius. Larue mounts typically sit flat on the rail, but some others have a gap that allows travel that pushes one side of a mount downward, usually the free (or clamping) side of a bolt-through style mount.

Nope, but I can say yours had some inspiration on mine...

I need to machine a longer lower rod for the stock on the Larue fde heavy due to the longer buffer tube, so the clamp sits flush against the castle nut like on the ar-15.
