Just make sure you get a matching set (0 MOA, 16 MOA, 20 MOA, 30 MOA, 45 MOA), and also the correct length fore-end rail so it matches the length of your fore-end. The base mounts into your existing action screws (in my case, a Rem700), and the fore-end mounts in in the keymod slots. It has been super accurate for me with 175smks and 155TMKs. |

Hey, does anyone know how to remove the little rectangle piece of polymer on the bottom of the buttstock? It's the 2" x 1.5" "skid plate"
I want to finish Cerakoting the rear end of the rifle, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get that small part off. There are two roll pins above it, but I don't believe they are what hold it on. Is it pressure fit? Anyone ever removed that piece? Thanks |

What bubble level is that? Thanks! It is a great firearm. The bubble level is from Accuracy 1st, from here: Scope Level LRI did a phenomenal job with the rifle overall. Take the action for example. Although this rifles action started as a Remington 700 AAC-SD, it remains nothing of an original Remington action. LRI basically used it's shell. If you look closely, you can see that the bolt removal button was moved from the typical Remington trigger -position, to a side release like the Defiance actions. With the new recoil lug and completely re-milled action - it is a completely different rifle.

My first bolt action rifle was the TacOps XRAY 51 with a TacOps Titanium 308 Suppressor. I had just sold some stuff and had the money and opportunity to buy one - so I did. I figured I would never shoot as well as the gun can, therefore all accuracy issues would be introduced from ME rather than the platform I am shooting from. With the rifle being delivered with an accuracy guarantee of .25 MOA or better (mine shot between a 3/64 and 1/16th MOA!) with commercial FGMM ammo. My best grouping thus far has been a consistent ~1/8th MOA with FGMM. I have been able to do that pretty much group after group. I believe that is one of the few prototype chassis AI did at the beginning. Right side cutout for mag well. I think the skins were 3D printed as well.
ETA: I think they were built for a .gov solicitation. Or I am way off...... |

We were pretty honored to be asked to do some work on it. We got our hands on this before the chassis was commercially available. The second I put my hands on it I knew I wanted one. So, built this.... 
Harris Publications had reached out to us to build something "new and cool" for a new magazine called Rifle Firepower. I used the excuse to fund this rifle. It is still one of my favorite firearms I've ever owned. Only thing I've changed over time is swapping to an ATACR. Mark |
