Had my 50 with me as well:

I tried to reach out to 1,630m and was literally dancing around the target, but no hits.  The 20mph tailwind turned slightly and ended up all over the place on the second day so from one moment to the next, the wind would shift the round up to 3mils.  Elevation was spot on, but I don't have the first clue to adjust to such quick wind changes.

Need a lot more practice.

Hitting a torso at 1300 meters  with a 700 and you consider yourself "not a very good shot"???...  As a Marine who competed in matches, I think you definitely have the fundamentals...LOL

As a Marine, I bet you could march 20 miles, not break a sweat and still make the shot.

As a pog (I'm a reservist, but I drive a desk), I doubt I could make the shot unless conditions were perfect and I'm not out of breath, lol!

The wind is also something I really need to learn to read and adjust to.

More pics of my pals and their rigs from the same shoot:

1,630m is pretty hard to see with the naked eye, but even with zoom on the camera it was kind of blurry:

Here's mine:

Christensen Arms Ridgeline 308, 20 inch barrel.  Leupold VX2 3-9x50 Talley lightweight rings, strap, Javelin bipod.  7.5 lbs loaded w/o bipod.  It's my hunting rifle, taking it on a sheep hunt in less than a month!  Shooting 165 Federal Trophy Bonded Tips or 180's.

Other is very new, Ruger Hawkeye M77 mkII 223 tactical.  20 inch barrel with my yhm ti 556 suppressor.  Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15 x42 moa reticle, Leupold rings.  First ever rounds down range last Saturday and it's instantly going to the permanent arsenal.  Couldn't believe how fun it was to shoot!  Incredibly accurate too, even with the pillar version of the Hogue stock was corn holing pine cones at 225 yards with wolf gold 55 grain.

I'm a fan.  The glass is great and the turrets track well.  The zero stop and locking windage knob are a nice touch.  The scope isn't too heavy.  My only complaint might be that the exit pupil is a bit small at 18x, but I knew that going into it with a 44 mm objective.

I ordered it.  Waited just over 7 months for it and it was completely worth it.  The stock is very stiff, has a nice weight to it, and fits very nicely.

Remington 700 AAC-SD on top.  Well, what's left of it.  Bell and Carlson M40 stock, Timney 510, Larue rail, Thunderbeast compact brake with a CB9 on the end, and a SWFA 10x42 SS in some Seekins rings.  I'll stick a better optic on later.  Just had it laying around.

CZ455 Tacticool on the bottom with a Meuler 4.5-14 APT in Talley rings with a Sico Sparrow SS on the end.

I've had the CZ since Christmas and just build the Remington this week.

It's honestly box stock other than the bipod, scope, rings, and can.  The 455 Tacticool model comes with a 16" threaded barrel and the Boyd's stock.  The factory trigger is decent, but does have a little creep.  The pull was turned all the way down when I got it so I ended up cranking it about halfway up.  Ended up with a little take-up creep and a crisp 3lb or so break.

So far all I've shot is RWS subsonic and Geco bolt action match.  It REALLY likes the Geco.  Makes me look like a better shooter than I am.  The RWS subs are about 20 years old so that might have some effect but my groups are larger.  I really need to sit down and take my time but I feel like the rifle will get easily under an inch with the Geco if I don't let it down.

Also, I've got A LOT of suppressors and the CZ setup with the Sparrow and subsonics is just spooky quiet.  First time I fired it I honestly thought something had gone wrong.  Just sounded like a dry fire.

The setup makes one heck of a nice training/fun rifle.

6.5 Creedmoor. It's awesome, zero'd it in at 100 yards and walked the plates out to 1000 yards in under 20 rounds (including getting zero) of off the shelf ELD's. Very accurate, best "out of the box" LRP I've seen.

Working my way out farther with each trip to Montana. Had dope from previous day & made a hit on the 4th shot.

This rifle, in pieces, was a retirement gift from my wife & two sons.  Savage F-class action, Stockaid varmint stock, Krieger heavy in 260 Rem. Nightforce 5.5x22.

Last day on the prairie in a stiff cross wind, shot an 18" group at a measured 1920yds.  The Rock was the size of a house But I could see the impacts.  I still managed to hit it in the hind quarters.

Because of the off road driving restrictions in Montana due to fire danger, my partner & I walked out to look to be sure.  Here's the trophy pic, impacts were just off my left elbow in the smooth part of the rock.

140gr Nosler Custom Competition. Certainly not the best bullet for soft targets like Praire Dogs but it performed the best at distance.

I was within inches at 1592-1620. I had a hit & saw blood and guts on the ground but no dead Prairie Dog above ground to get the official paper plate picture.

As for shooting 1920 & farther, elevation on the NF is topped out at 85 moa. Added to the 20 moa rail and 4 on reticle put rounds on target.

I figure the 260 is out of gas at 2200 & falling like a meteor.

My son (in WY) & I own a Rem 700 in 338 LM that we've shot accurately out to 2450 but HE won't let me "waste it" on prairie dog whackin'.

Updated my favorite rifle lol....

Dumped the 2 piece base for a 1 piece 15 moa base.
Sent the vx3i in and had the turrets changed to m1's
Dumped the old sling for a Turner Saddlery NM 1907 sling
Put on a set of KNS precision sling swivels.
Used some left over accraglass to make the sling studs stable and not turn.

First group since the gun was finished....

It's a Field Tactical model for R700 SA.   I did a small Electrical job and took it in trade. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it though.  I have a 40x Tactical in an A5 I thought about dropping into it but then I also thought about getting another action and doing a proof barreled 260 Remington.  I currently am having emails back and fourth with them to see if I can get a stiller rail for it to use a stiller action in it.

A little side note.  I didn't know Leup stopped selling MK4's to civs so I picked up that LRT or whatever the hell they call it.   I took a 10x MK4 off the Badger and put it on the Tikka and put the new one on the Badger.  I am not impressed with it....   It may be the Mil/MOA thing but the turret is kinda meh.  The glass is good though

The target near the top of the reticle should be about 1900 yards.   I think I had it on 6x or whatever the lowest was but I may be wrong.

I dig it.

The field tactical is the model I'm interested in as well. My first choice was the Remington RACS, but the price is just stupid retarded...

The Cadex field tactical looks like a winner.

+1.  Shoup, host those pics on a different site so we can see them.  Also, since you have 2 Rem700's in different calibers, which do you like shooting more?

Also posting to try and bump this thread to the next page.  Every time I open it now I drool over that AX50 that Mister_Donut posted at the top of the page.  It's bad for my wallet!
