Hello gents. I just purchased a Winchester feather weight in 7mm 08 for coming deer season & hogs.
I'm on the fence on spending money to have the rifle pillared and bedded. Never had it done but considering it. Anyone have experience in this. Is it a good idea to have done & will it help with accuracy noticeably?
Haven't shot it yet but was reading up on it. Hill country rifles.
Thank you in advance

Why don't you shoot it first and see what kind of accuracy you get?
