Shot this today at 100 yards with a Rock River AR-15, 20" 1-9 barrel, with a magnified optic. Ammo was handloads, LC brass, 25.5 grs varget, 69gr Nosler CC. I was doing really well until the last group. But over all group 1 .425, group 2 .441, group 3 .464, group 4 .555, group 5 1.379. Total is 3.264, divided by 5 equals .652 MOA.

Been frustrated with one of my other builds so I took the Ruger out for some group therapy. Started out great but I screwed the last two groups up. Bottom group I did not build a good position behind the gun. Center group would have been good if I had not pulled the shot low right. Took that group size from .304 to .559. Woulda been close to sub .3 average if it wasn't for that shot.

In any case:

Backside of the paper to show I didn't just sticky over bad groups.

I plan on revisiting this one again. The goal is to beat .3 MOA.

Didn't set out to do this but was excited about how these rounds were shooting so I pulled out this target from my target folder thanks to @LaRue_Tactical

So if I don't meet all the criteria oh well it was a good day shooting.

Went to try this today but the 100 yard range was closed for a match, so I shot it at 200. Not sure if that's kosher but I failed anyway, so I'll just consider this post practice at the required format.

Reviewing the requirements I see I also failed to get a separate pic of the rifle setup, I just took one of the rifle and range. Oh well, like I said, call this a practice post.

Shot these groups this morning.  I'm not sure they qualify since two are over the 1.047, but here they are:

1.096; 1.090; 0.532; 0.739 and 0.634  for a total of 4.091 / 5 = 0.8182

ETA - the flyer in the middle was actually the first shot.  I had forgotten to reset my elevation zero after firing suppressed. I reset elevation and fired the challenge.  Understand the decision of judges will be final.

Well lets see what we got here, I hope I did this correctly.

Lower middle target was used for sight in. It was within an inch after affixing the scope back on.

Shot the rest of the targets around it in a clockwise order starting in lower left corner. I used On target to do the results.

Smallest group from Edge to Edge as best I could.

The target affixed to the board. Upper target obviously!

This is an improvement for a rifle I have already entered (higher up on this page)...I tried a new type of ammo.  The old entry that this is replacing for me was between #69 and #70.

Whoever is the keeper of this thread needs to take a very hard look at Mike P. It has been shown that this individual is a liar,  it is also now known that this individual lacks any of the properties one would need to honestly do this  event.  Those being trust, integrity, and honesty. It has been proven without a doubt that he will lie to site staff and mods and his customers repeatedly.  Given that info and his character flaws I formally submit unless his shooting was witnessed by an upstanding member here that his entries be officially removed.

You can go to OC cerakote industry forum, the negative EE feedback forum or the 30+ page thread in GD for more info about his character.

This is a contest.  If you want to discuss the Cerakote issue, there are threads where you can do that.  Just post contest here, please. - Old_Painless

Quick question:

Has the "softball-sized" rear bag limitation been dispensed with?

Can any set of bags be used?
