Edit:  although I may have to go out into the desert to do it.
My local range frowns on targets with 'human-like' features

Reserved for my next range trip.  I already printed some of these last week.

ETA:

I made it to the range yesterday.  Range was 106 yards according to my Leupold LRF.  Here is the target with 5 hits (barely).

The rifle I used is in the foreground in this picture:

I blew up the image to scale to standard letter size paper and saved as a PDF to allow easy printing and consistency.

How about adding classes and distances for:

Suppressed rimfire rifle using subsonic ammunition -  50 yards

Air rifle - 10 yards

Pistol (centerfire) - 10 yards

Suppressed (centerfire) pistol - 10 yards

Way too specific. Who cares if you shot it suppressed or not?

It's a target, shoot it.

100 yards might be a bit too far. targets represent a range well over 1,000 yards, in one case, the guy with binos is 1,400 yards away.

In order to make consistent hits in vitals, you need a 1/2 MOA rifle for this...

FYI, center guy with binos, his head is .5" wide, meant to be shot at 100 yards=.5 MOA.

1 mil = 3.5 MOA (rough)

My head is a little bit over 7 inches wide (based on my stiff cowboy hat).

3.5 MOA/.5 MOA  = 7

1 mil/7= 1.4 mil

7 x 27.77/.14~ 1380-90 yards

I thought to myself, I don't have anything with enough glass on it to get to a target that small.....

Then I remembered  I have a  M77 25-06 with 3x9x50 Leopold on it.

If that don't work, i'll just spray it with a AR,,,,,, cuz you said they are all bad guys.

That is a very racist target, except for the one overweight ARFCOMMMER driving to his job at WalMart.

I will have to give it a try next weekend with the AIAT.

I shot an honest .4 MOA 5-shot group last time out so the rifle is capable of it.  The real question is whether I am on a given day though.

I decided to jump into this "test" with my air rifle.  I am an affectionato of spring air rifles and thought I can do this with one of mine, even though an air rifle compete has not been set up as of yet.  The gun is a Wiehrauch HW 97 in 177 with a Hawke 8.5 X 24 scope.  I set the target up at 40 yards (yes, that is fo-tay) and had a go.  The shots are hard to see, but I got every one of them on the first try.  That means 5 terrorists gone to their 70 virgins for a total of 360 virgins.  May be a bit hard to find

Could possibly lay the target over another sheet of brightly colored paper which should highlight the holes maybe? In order to see the impacts better.

Rifle was zeroed for my 175gr reloads which are a touch on the hot side.  Since there is no rule about true cold bore I have two targets.  After shooting the driver, tree sniper, and stair spotter, I adjusted up 0.4 mils.

If you do, be sure to shoot at 50 yards.

I'll give it a shot at 50, but any wind at all bucks that subsonic little 13.4 grain pellet all over the place.  Makes for cheap and fun training.

If 100 yards is good for centerfire and 50 for rimfire, 25-35 would be more appropriate for a .177 air rifle.
