Yep, Photobucket just crippled millions of third party hosted photo links all over the world by imposing a huge fee of over $300 per year forever.  Really stupid business move by a dying company.  Exactly the opposite of what they need to be doing.

Can't see your pic dayphotog, nor can anyone see any of mine anymore.  Can't figure out if this board permits direct posting of pics.

Just got my barrel back and mocked it up. Not super happy with the result from the cerakote-er I used (tried to go local, that was dumb). Gotta paint the tail of the barrel still. Instead of having cerakote on the shank it'll be Krylon. That area gets beaten up with a wrench when I'm installing/removing the barrel and it's meant to be a switch barrel gun so no point cerakoting it there.

Someone is likely to want to know the parts so:
Mossberg MVP .223, MDT LSS, Timney trigger, XLR Tactical butt, DPMS PSG-1 grip, Razor 2 3-18x50, Burris Signature rings, a2 birdcage, Black Hole Weaponry 26" 1:7 barrel.

Hit the range this weekend with my new 6.5CM. Super pumped about this rifle!

Setup the steel:

Then practiced some positional stuff:

Rem 700 5R 22".  Timney Trigger, APA LB brake.  Vortex PST Gen 1 FFP 6-24x MOA.  Recently had the stock stippled so I could get a better grip on it, and swapped out a broken Harris for a new Magpul bipod because they're new and I haven't broken one yet.

Nice rifle.

Do those jokers at Young's have the chrono working yet? Last few times it's not worked. Yes I can set up my own but it's nice to know the one there is working...

The last time that I was there they did not but I’m going up tomorrow if it’s not too nasty out. It’s been real foggy the last two days.

@Ghostface, would you mind posting some info on your rifle? I’m looking for a dual use hunting/target 30-06 and am trying to get some ideas.

Thank you Sir, if I were going to build a rifle that would pull double duty I would not get the M40 profile barrel. It’s simply too heavy for hunting, I’m not saying it can’t be done but it won’t be fun. Look at the medium Palma profile, it’s over a pound lighter but it’s still heavy enough for long strings of fire.
