I'll start.  Six months ago it was the first Barrett 99 set up with a Barrett QDL suppressor, there may be a handful more now.

Shiloh Sharps .50-70.  It might not have the range of some of the other .50s but it has more beauty.

I have video of range bags and cases blowing away off the firing line like a tornado hit them all of a sudden.

.50 BMG plus muzzle brake is no freaking joke to anything on the sides, and my nose stings every time I've broken the shot on a .50, so that guy would probably have eye damage as well, let alone the vacuum sucking his tympanic membranes out like juice through a high pressure straw.

I've been shooting Barretts M82 since the First Gulf War and meet Ronnie Barrett numberous times.  Here's couple of his guns thru the years.

Kuwait 2000

Iraq 2003 mounted on a Tocoma

Iraq 2005

Other .50s, Iraq 2004 M2HB,  M79 and M240

Iraq 2003 captured .55 Boys AT gun

When you need a HE round swap uppers on the Barrett to 25mm (XM109, I worked on this project)

Here's my personal .50 BMG Freshour Tejas from 92' time frame

Seems we acquired from the drawdown in Astan these Barrett 99s from another agency.  Had to inspect 22ea today, some all black and some two toned.

Thanks...  Decided I had enough "black rifles" already when I bought this one.  Ended up selling my Serbu BFG to focus on this one.

With a 1 in 12 twist, what is the heaviest bullet you have shot?

Played with some spotter/tracer projectiles...  882 grains.  Typically just shoot the standard FMJ.  Had bought some Amax 750gr loaded ammo before I realized the rifling was so tight that it would probably overpressure.  Thankfully hadn't bought much so I shot most of it through the Serbu.
