This was my target buck this year...he came through following a group of 11 doe, one spike, he presented a 9 yard shot directly below me.

some weeks later......

I had to take a doe in my county before I could shoot another archery buck and I actually had this guy walk within range a few times before I was offered a shot on a doe. I grunted him in two times the next morning and got him to offer a 12 yard broadside shot...ran 20 yards.

Haven't had a lot of time this season between work and personal stuff going on. Got in the woods for the second time this evening. 15 yard broadside in low light conditions. Rage hypodermic put her down in 60 yards. Excited about some chicken fried backstrap!

Yeah man that makes the euro mount even cooler. You know he was a warrior. Imagine the monster that did that to him!!!

Got a doe to fill my freezer. Almost had a buck, but instead of coming down my shooting lanes he decided to run after a "hot young thing" and didn't get close enough. Was a NICE big 8... Alas, having two deer to drag back to the truck would not have been fun lol. So it worked out.

Not as impressive as a lot of the deer on here, but it's my first archery kill.  I was using a crossbow tonight, not my regular bow.  Nice fat little doe came in, standing perfectly broadside at about 15 yards. After the shot, she didn't run more than about 30 yards, the 100 gr 3 blade Muzzy did quite the number on her. Double lung and heart were both sliced wide open.
