I have used the lumenok nocks but never the arrows.

They do work darned good. Then I learned how to make them out of bobber lights. Hell of alot brighter and cheaper doing it that way.

I use Tracer Nocs. I like them becuase they start blink after 10 seconds of being solid lit after passing the magnetic switch.

Have always wanted to build my own, but Nocturnals work pretty well and are almost the same price.
I just picked some up this weekend for $6, and the bobber LEDs alone are $4 around here. Might be able to order qty for less, but all the DIY i've seen require something inside the arrow to push against. Curious as to your design (I have a few ideas in my head) but the Nocturnals are self-contained, lightweight, inexpensive, and work well.

Perhaps we should do a desription/comparison of various commercial and home made designs.

Stronger, hold up to shooting more. Most lighted knocks bust after a dozen or so shots.
Nockturnals last into the hundreds.
