THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
so i was at a youth shoot this weekend helping out at my local club and learned to shoot on a recurve bow in about 5 minutes (granted it was just the basics and enough to hit the target), i shot for awhile longer and enjoyed it enough to take up the sport. ive began searching ebay and craigslist in hopes of finding a great deal (im frugal and my other hobbies eat into alot of my extra income) i was hoping somebody on here could tell me if any of these are deals worth pursuing. i already know about pull length and what not and ive been messaging sellers asking about that for the bows that didnt list it already. so here are the bows im considering. all the prices are including cost of fuel, "less than" is because im not too sure the cost of driving there and back or whether the seller would be willing to meet me anywhere closer.

Bear Carbon Extreme XLR bow (less than 100) - has a peep and a quiver

Browning Rage compound bow (less than 200) - has hard case, release, quiver, stabilizer and a few arrows

Jennings Airmaster (200) - Cobra Sight, Wisker Bisket limb savers, Gold Tip arrows, soft case and a few arrows

PSE package deal of an adult Phaser II, a teen Scamp and a Bear Woody Special (100) - all appear to be in fair condition but none of the pull lengths are right, they're 3-4 inches off

Bear Sentry (50) perfect pull length and comes with 16 arrows...this is the one im leaning toward currently so if anyone has thoughts on this bow whether good or bad, please share

Bear Whitetail (less than 100) with soft case and new release

Diamond Justice (200) - new string,cable damper,sights, rest,and wrist strap

another question i had was if there was any amount it would be okay to stray away from my measured pull length? thank you to anybody who either spends thier time reading this or can give any info to help

I would not be interested in any of them. I know it seems like getting an older inexpensive bow to start out with makes sense but I would go with something pretty recent as you will want something more up to date fairly soon once you get into it.
Stick it.

I'd be looking for something 3-4 years old. You should be able to find bows by Martin, Reflex, Diamond or Bear in your budget with a little looking.
Stick it.

What are your thought on the Diamond Justice, is that a really old model? I also came across a 2008 Reflex Growler today that just a little outside my price range, anything you could tell me about that bow or just the brand.

heres the listing for it:

I am selling a right handed 2008 Reflex (Hoyt's little brother) Growler Bow. The bow is in perfect working order and was lightly used, but i don't use it anymore and it's time to go. The draw weight is 50-60. The draw length is adjustable from 25-30. The bow is outfitted with a True Glo 5 pin sight, an STS string stop, a Primos string protector, a stabilizer, Carolina Archery drop away rest, and a 5 arrow quiver that mounts on the bow.

thanks for responding, I really appreciate it

Bows are kind of individual and what one person likes another won't. Kind of makes it hard if you can't shoot it first. That Reflex for a little over $200 doesn't sound bad though. Only ever shot 1 Reflex (Bighorn) - it was a while back but I liked it pretty well actually, It was around an 08 I think; if it was what I had to use I wouldn't complain.
Stick it.

What is your draw length? A good place to look –– believe it or not –– is fleaBay. Find a Bear Truth 2 package like this one around $275 or so, or a Martin like this Pantera or Saber and then add what you need (at the least arrows and a release). Expect to spend around $100 or so for a dozen arrows.

You might consider diverting some of your other-hobby money to getting a good used bow. You'll actually end up spending less in the long run (because you will upgrade).
