Well some of you may remember a few months back I posted asking help to find a bow for my dad for Christmas. At the time I wasn't into the whole bow thing, well I got the bug... bad. I got my tax return and was quite surprised that it was enough to pay off my bills and have plenty left over:-) to the bow shop I went. I had my mind set on a carbon element. Unfortunately my draw length is 30.8 inches. The 32 A2A bow top out at 30 inches. I tried to shoot the element maxed out and it felt pretty good, but then they walked out with a carbon matrix set at 31 inches... it was a dream... shooting with no sight I was grouping inside six inches. So I ordered it... here's what's on its way:

Hoyt Carbon Matrix Blacked out

QAD Ultra-Rest LD

Fuse Interceptor 7pin

Fuse carbon blade 11.5

Scott silver horn

And 12 Easton fatboys with blazer vanes

Should be an awesome setup for 3D target and hunting (with different arrows of course)

Can't wait for it all to get here.

It may be a bit crazy to drop nearly 2grand on your first set up but everyone told me to shoot everything and get what felt best. So I did.

EDIT:
WELLLLLL... heres the deal... I had some issues with the Hoyt Dealer and found out about the Mathews dealer in town... I also found out that my draw length was measured wrong and that I am in fact fine (if not a touch long) at 30 inches. Soooo this is what I ended up with...

Arrows: Carbon Express Maxima Blue Streak Select 350's

I sighted it in to 20 last night at the shop then this morning at my house this was my first group at 30 while trying to sight in.

I broke two nocks...lol

SO a major change in what I ended up with... but I am in love with this Heli-m

I shot that bow but didnt like it as much as the Mathews Z7x or the Bowtech stuff.
Had to shoot these alot to finally make up my mind.

I am glad that YOU got the bow YOU liked the best. Good choice.
