The Craze is 306fps at 30/70, while the Razor Edge achieves basically the same speed (308fps) at lower draw weight and shorter draw length (29/60). |

after looking at the two, I would go with the Craze. I actually have a Mission Maniac and I love it.

I just got my son a used maniac and it is easily adjustable over a huge range (22-30" and 20-70lbs). Draw length is adjustable without a press. That's correct- I am not very familiar with the Matthews/Mission bows to know if there is another direct replacement, but the Maniac I've seen for $250-$300. There are certainly less expensive bows out there, but not a lot that are as adjustable to be able to keep up from 8yo to adult... of course 10 years from now he might prefer one of the laser shooting bows...
