THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I was looking at the hunting regulations for neighboring states that have game not available in Ohio, and I see that West Virginia does not allow the use of a "bow locking device" when bow hunting deer and black bear. The WV regs do not define "bow lock device," and so I'm left wondering to what they're referring. Are they talking about a release? Cliff's: Is a "bow locking device" the same thing as a release? |

My guess would be (and MT law is) that it's something to hold the bow at a draw.
