My father in law has an old Fred Bear Whitetail Hunter that needs some parts. I would like to use newer parts, but it needs, at the least, an arrow rest, peep sight, front sight and nocking points. I am looking at a small budget, but would like to get it running to at least try it. I have been looking at some parts on amazon and cables but wanted to see what you guys had to say.

Also, does the rule of 6 apply to arrows? I was told to multiply the draw weight by 6 to determine arrow weight. If I am sitting at 60# pull right now, it should be a 360 grain arrow, right?

Thank you

My first bow.  I will be the guy to say it though, its old tech, Not a great performer.  Used bows are dirt cheap for something more modern.
