Archery can be divisive. Traditional shooters sometimes look down on compound shooters, compound shooters sometimes look down on crossbows and so on. Archers love their bows and usually that love extends to manufacturers. That is natural. I have my own personal preferences and even my own dislikes.

Let's discuss our favorites without knocking and being derogatory of other's choices. Certainly good neighbored ribbing is always fun, but some archery boards become.....hostile for lack of a better term. Let's not let that happen here. We want to welcome all shooters and all manufacturers and want participation from all of them.

We do not want petty bickering because everyone doesn't agree with what you think is the proper way. Archery, and bowhunting, in particular can be controversial to some people who are uneducated on how deadly bows are. Let's not give them the ammo they need to paint any type of legal hunting in a bad light.

Let's have fun but not lose sight of the big picture. We are all in this together. Whether we like bows, guns or spears.
ARFCOM.....Time well wasted.

I'm 100% in agreement with krpind.

Archery can be overwhelming to someone just starting out, and I think we need to make it known that we are a helpful and welcoming place to archers, regardless of your skill level.

Sure, we'll have disagreements, but we can all be civil about it. A lot can be learned by hearing someone from the other side of the fence.

Whatever you guys would like to see, be sure to let us know.
