I robin hooded my first arrow!

Will post a pic as soon as I can. Had a headache when I came home from work yesterday and decided to shoot some arrows, and bam! I did it! My kids were SO thrilled for me.

Congratulations. I've done it twice but it can only be pure luck because it sure as hell wasn't my skills.

Yeah, I know.

Of course, I could use this as an excuse to buy more arrows. The arrow that went into the other was my only Lumenok (sp?) arrow, the only down side.

It was very thrilling, especially since my middle child was out there with me and saw it happen. I did my excited squeal and danced.

What can I say, I was thrilled.

I did it twice in a row, once back in about '96 with a longbow. Freaked me out!

I did it once, but i'm sure it was by accident. I saved the arrow and put it up in my 9 pt's rack . I like to look at it and think " that will never happen agin "

Pretty cool, isn't it?

I think you are wearing the same watch I wear during deer season (G-Shock). I don't wear a watch the rest of the year.
It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.

Awesome!

I have done it twice with my Bowtech. Must be dumb luck because it isn't my skills. The high starts to wear off for me at about $12 and arrow.

Yeah, it's a GShock. Wish to God I could find a functional, meaning the functions I want and not a bajillion other functions too, pretty (GShocks don't go well with more feminine outfits), and waterproof. I guess it is too muck to ask.

I haven't worn a watch in months. I miss it, but I'm tired of wearing a big ass watch.

for me the "neat" part of Robin Hood'ing an arrow is ruined by the cost of replacing said arrow, but I am cheap.

I've done it two or three times many years ago when I was really into archery. Like another poster said, it was more luck than it was skill.

I haven't actually split arrows, just broke knocks and bent arrows severely.

That's a pretty cool sound when it happens.

I had my first RH last year. First time out at the range with my (then) new bow too.

Congrats. It might be luck, but you still got to be putting them close together to increase your odds.

I miss my bow. I am off work recovering from surgery, which means no lifting, pushing, or pulling anything over 15lbs. I can't wait to get back to my shooting my bow. I am bored already.
