So I found a cool take down recurve bow and I thought it would be a nice back up or truck bow to have or something I can place in my pack . I do know I need to practice winh the boe and I'm willing to do it.

What I would like to know is if anyone makes compact full size arrows? Can this even be don so I thought I'd ask here. Also my 12 year old daughter has a talent for bow hunting we went to the state fair here in the Dakotas first time she picked up a bow at the state game and fish area and she was hitting targets the size of a crow at 10 yards.

So looking for a good started bow for her also thanks.

I don't understand the question - what do you mean by compact full size arrows? You choose arrows the same way regardless if it is a take down or 1 piece bow. Give me draw weight at what rated draw length, bow make and model, your draw length, what weight head you want to use (if you have an idea), what material you want them in (wood, carbon, aluminum) and I can make a reasonable response. Compound or traditional for your daughter?

Sorry I'm wanting to know is there such thing as arrows that can brake down to half there size then be screwed together to make a full length arrow? Kind of like a take down pool stick. I'm not sure how much weight yet they have 35-60 lb.

No go on the 2 piece arrows; I'd pass on the Walmart arrows as well. Would a Hoyt Ignite work for your daughter - she would have to have a draw of at least 19".

there are many charts on the internet for looking at length of draw and poundage to determine the correct spine you need. (Spine is the term for stiffness of the arrow)
