So I went and Bought a used Mathews Switchback with all the goodies. The damn thing is beyond amazing.  So..... Yesterday I am out in the woods and a weird thought crossed my mind.

Is it too early to try a grunt call? Normally that's kind of a Rut thing, BUT does it hurt to give an occasional grunt right now?

Thanks

I had a couple of bucks this weekend that I tried to get in with The Can. Neither one really showed much interest in it. Didn't have my rattle bag or grunt tube with me - suspect it's just a touch early.

As of 10-18 in KY Bucks are reacting to Grunting and LIGHT Rattling. I rattled in 4 small bucks and 4 does.

I was able to stick a doe and recover her after a short walk. she only went about 30 yards.

With the weather changing as of today I am looking forward to this weekend I think its going to be good.

I will NOT be without my horns and grunt call.
