THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Just wanted to say welcome to the new archery/bowhunting board.

Over time here we will be updating it with new functionality in order to have it exist as a mini-site within the AR15.com umbrella.

We will also be expanding the forums, adding industry reps, and otherwise growing it to meet the needs of our users.

Our goal is to leverage the software and community we have established, as well as bring new users into the family from the outdoors/shooting industry.

All of your input/comments/ideas are welcome, so feel free to post, email, or IM.

Was a quick hack someone did... I'm thinking this is another opportunity to have some sort of contest for ideas.
A BFL with crossed arrows is simple, but perhaps someone else can come up with a more creative idea.

Awesome idea. I will spread the word about the new site to all my bow hunting friends.

Glad to see this. I'll be traveling the rest of the week but as an aspiring archer I look forward to spending a lot of time here when I get back.

Excellent idea! I can see myself spending time here.

And perfect timing also- I used to spend quite a bit of time shooting my bow; target, deer hunting and bowfishing. But, for many reasons, I just kind of lost interest about 6 years ago. For the past few years I have considered dusitng it off and getting a deer tag.

I got home this evening to find an 8-point buck standing in my back yard. Pretty sure I will be practicing tomorrow.

Then I opened my emails to find the newsletter with the info for this new forum. FATE!

I also like the logo, but maybe something along the lines of the PSE TAC-15 crossbow would befit our views....

Dumb question! how do you find the archery section from the main home page? I had to go to the bow hunting section and find the link.
In my dream, the world had a terrible disaster. And the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a candle came to life, symbol of hope for millions. A tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out.

All the way at the top right corner of all pages... between the red STORE button and the 3 Gun Nation button.

ETA: Can also go right to http://archery.ar15.com

Yep!

Great idea Ed, especially for us newbies.
