Just pick one and shoot that division. The Glock will put you in open, and the acog will put you in Tac Optics. You will be behind in equipment no matter what but since you are just starting shoot it with what you got and you quickly figure out what is needed. Figure out your rifle holds and practice loading the SG before the match and go have fun.

I agree with the above statement, shoot what you have and decide where you'd like to go from there. I can tell you from first hand experience that making too many decisions about what you think you want to do without getting some experience can be very costly and ultimately lead to unnecessary purchases. Go out and shoot, see what you like, what you want, and what you need before spending much money and just focus on having fun out there.

I agree, not buying new gear now till i figure out what I want and need. I think I'm going to shoot the Kimber just cause I like it more and shoot it better. Thanks!
