I will be competing in a 3 man 3 gun in May limited class (tactical class) can I use extended mag bottoms on my M&P 17 round factory mags in this class? I know it has to meet either 140 or 170mm specs. Can this be done or will it put me in an open class (outlaw class)?
Thanks for you help can't seem to read it in the rules right without interpreting it different ways.

You will have to check your match rules. The majority of the matches have a 140mm limit on mag's in tac/limited. The 170mm is for open.

The Taylor Freelance, Dawson Precision, and Arredondo base pads that add 4-6 rounds to your stock magazines will put you right at the 140mm limit for Tactical, Limited, tac optics, irons etc. You should not be in open class with those smaller base pads.
