It wouldn't bother me but I'd get bored one day and take a dremel to it or buy a low-pro gas block. |

With these smaller 3-gun type scopes I could see how the AR front sight could really block a lot of the forward view. Larger scopes with the 40-50 mm lense don't really notice the front sight post. Like you said, I'll probably go with an upper with a gas block with no sight.

its not the size of the objective, its the magnification. Lop that sucker off, like Cam said.
