I'm check out the SLR gas block. I use the one with set screws, found clamp on gas blocks slip.

Really. I'm using the Samson hand guard and trying to find a gas block that will fit inside of it

The SLR gas blocks are pretty slim, especially if you use a set screw mount. One thing I like about the SLR is the adjustment is from the front, not trying to reach through the side. What is the I.D of the Sampson handguard?

SLR blocks are probably the best in the market. Seekins, Rhino Arns, JP, PRI will all fit in in the Samson Evo handguard. I have used them all.
