The 45acp is OK to shoot in any division.
Now if you are planning on Heavy Metal you must use a 308 along with the 45 and 12. While it may not be the most competitive choice (outside of HM), if that is what you got, by all means run the dog snot out of it! Patrick |

Thanks for the answer. I just love my 1911 it's the iconic instrument of pistol shooting competitions.

I guess I have just not conformed yet. The idea is great, same platform with more rounds but still not the same. I'm sure i will bite the bullet one day and buy one but as of now i'm just hardheaded.

Once you have one you will definitely say its not the same. You will say it a lot better especially when using it in competition. Saved time and money on mag changes, mags, mag pouches etc. |
