Our squad followed behind Jerry and Daniel's all weekend. Those two were great to watch. Lena had some great runs as well. If she sticks with 3 Gun, she'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I had a camera and video cam in my bag all weekend and didn't take it out once.
Just a FYI though, Mike Voigt is no longer the USPSA president. Phil Strader took over the office early this year. And Daniel Horner beat Taran Butler by 1.7 points to take the title in Tac Optics. |

I couldn't possibly disagree more with this quote from the linked article "Casual shooters have no place in this competition. This one was for the pros." Quite the contrary, I thought this match was the perfect major match for a new shooter to cut his/her competitive teeth on. The targetry was less technically challenging / difficult than I've seen at other Major matches and the courses of fire relatively simple when compared to those at RM3G, BRM3G, and others.
"Casual shooters have no place" is NOT the message we want to send for a sport looking to recruit new shooters and grow in relevance. |

Agreed - it isn't too late for an edit CTD.

I already don't care for CTD due to pricing antics and that quote sealed the deal for me. I take severe umbrage to that comment. Sheldon is who encouraged me, a novice shooter to come out and have fun and I did just that. I have only been to 2 major matches both being the TMGC 2011 and 2012, never shot ipsc, idpa, uspsa, or anything remotely related and I did just fine, had a blast, and met some of the pros who were more than courteous to this novice casual shooter "who had no place there"

Hate for you to DQ after making big preps. |

There is next to no casual basketball or football player that can play in a NBA or NFL game. With 3 gun the casual shooter can compete and if he works hard, practices can maybe place with the pros. |

Hey guys, CTD chose to edit their article ; this tells me they really are listening and care about our opinion. I think it's great that a couple guys (us) can make well-reasoned comments and have a major company not only listen, but then do something about it.
Back on topic, the photos they posted are pretty cool and the exposure of their "edited" article can only help continue to grow our sport. Don - I totally agree with you. Try competing head to head with the pros in any other sport - with very few exceptions you can't do it. One of the reasons I love Multi-Gun so much is that the common guy has the opportunity to put in the work and become at least semi-competitive with the pros. |

I loved the faced paced nature of the match. It was more of what I am used to shooting at my club matches. We finished on time everyday and the stages were a blast. Thanks to all the sponsors, RO's, match director and fellow shooters who made this match a pleasure to attend.

There are some pictures in our photo section on Facebook. There's a link after the pictures in the original post.
The steel is all custom from the front to back bumpers. There's a hidden setup for the winch behind the front license plate. It has four places for pintle mounts. We have two swing arms for the front mounts so you can sit and operate our C3 stuff. All was fabricated locally in Fort Worth. |

We know him as Manuel the welder. Not sure he does this on a regular basis. He also did the two tone bed liner.
If you want, I can get a phone number. |
