What's the deal with this, These hog hunts (below) require a quota permit, and they can be applied for between May 15 – June 15 at GoOutdoorsFlorida.com

These hunts are all on regulated Wildlife Management Areas controlled by the State Game and Fish Commission, each different WMA has different regulations to follow, so be sure to check out the SPECIFIC WMA that you plan on hunting.
You must have a Florida Hunting License and a Wildlife Management Area Permit. I am not absolutely sure, but I believe these are all day only hunts, do not know of any public lands that are open for night hog hunting.

All FWC quota hog hunts are for day hunting only. Usually from 30 minutes before sun rise to 30 minutes after sun set. I'm not aware of any night hunts at this time but there were few night hunts but not in management areas. I think FWC is afraid of people shooting into noise at night. |
