Ha thanks. I try to keep them short and to the point, but the video from my helmet mounted Patrol is just too cool to not throw in there. The conditions for recording video last night were awful because of the fog, but that played to our advantage with that pig being completely oblivious to our presence.

Now, here is a young coyote that jumped up and came right in.

Great video. Must have been a dark night, on anything less than a really dark night I get busted when using a mouth call if they get anywhere near that close.

It's a 10.5" 6.8 with 90 grain bullets. Can is an AAC 762SD. Yea, I thought the first shot would have dropped it. Sometimes they go right down, sometimes they just soak them up and keep running.

I also got him in the rear leg, which I think caused him to fall the first time before getting back up.

Curiosity got the best of this coyote last night while we were out watching for hogs on some newly planted corn fields.

One thing that was interesting and also pretty gross was that he had managed to perform some impromptu surgery on himself after being shot. I had heard of coyotes doing this before, but this was the first time I've seen it in person.

These hogs were right next to the tree line so I tried a two-fer on them with the 6.8. I'm not sure if I actually got a pass-through and hit on the second hog, but I managed to get them both with a few follow-up shots anyway.
