Trail cam pics and a hunt yesterday have shown a 5 year trend. Each of the last 5 years I have been able to count on consistent daytime movement of pigs in April and September. Other times of the year I get some daytime activity but it may only last a couple of days and is inconsistent. For a 2 to 3 week period every April and September they are out 1 - 2 hours before dark and 1-2 hours after daylight.

Anyone else see a similar trend for your area?

Excuse the cell phone pics.

I don't have five year trend data, but over the last three weeks we've killed 21 pigs on
the farm, all but 6 of them in the daytime.  That was not a common day/night
kill ratio for the rest of the year.

Here in FL you might see them active an hour prior to sunset year round but it's sporadic. They still favor the darkness 95% of the time.

I've kept track of the moon, but they don't move according to it. The only thing I've noticed is wind speed. High wind and dead calm they don't move as much, but there are still exceptions.
